If you go down to the woods today......a Moortie, Hugmahush or Bampot could give you a big surprise!

Best get yourself past the sleeping beithir and into the Lunar-tick Observatory.

This playful landscape built for the village of St Fillans in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park provides exercise for the body, mind and imagination. Track the secretive faeries through the oak woods, learn to spot the signs of creatures natural and fantastical, imagine yourself in the ancient stronghold of Dundurn or an eyrie commanding Loch Earn. After 6 years of hard work by the community and the project team, this unique place for childish pursuits is a bespoke response to the beauty and interest of the local landscape; a blend of play equipment, natural features, bespoke structures, weavings, cairns, furniture and beasties features interwoven with the oak trees, raspberry canes and bluebells of Creag Mhor.
