Rosslyn Chapel

LocationRosslyn, Scotland

ClientRosslyn family and Trust at Rosslyn Chapel

A collaboration with Page\Park Architects, the new visitor centre and upgraded pedestrian precinct provides a fantastic setting to the unique 15th Century chapel.

The compact rural site influenced our selection of material palette, which included Scottish sourced Caithness, whin setts and granite paving. Parking facilities were extended and improved to be sympathetic to the surrounding countryside.

Within the boundary of the Scheduled Monument, a new entrance and arrival space was created, a new café terrace with bespoke oak benches and gates overlooking Roslin Glen and a rationalisation of the Chapel Precincts.
