Green Infrastructure




Green infrastructure connects people with nature via a network of green spaces, watercourses and water bodies. Often more resilient and cost effective than grey infrastructure, green infrastructure is beneficial to social, environmental and economic functions.

SuDS (Sustainable urban Drainage Systems) have a primary function to reduce flood risk, provide temporary storage and improve water quality, but can also add an aesthetic quality to a landscape and increase biodiversity through wildlife habitats.

A well considered green infrastructure design achieves unity in functionality and enjoyment. We can provide a design that meets the needs of treatment of water quality and attenuation of flood volume, whilst creating places that are desirable and profitable.
